Oxford's calming colours

Perspectum2 Perspectum1

This week we've installed installed a project at Perspectum, Oxford Community Diagnostic Centre, into a Respiratory Early Diagnosis room where often people are told bad news.

The brief was to make the improve the appearance of the space: to make a ‘warmer’ less basic space, to create a more appropriate, sympathetic environment for difficult conversations with families around diagnoses and prognosis. No sunsets or sunflowers and careful consideration any references to end of life.

Our solution was an abstract image of leaves, the colours muted to avoid sunset/daybreak colours, and to give enough detail to distract without being overwhelming in the small space. Because all of our work is bespke, we can meet most briefs.

Our bed diagram infographic has also been installed this week at John Radcliffe Hospital, they have quite a bit of our work now!

This time the muted 'bed' and colours generally reflect the colours of the walls in the hospital. The infographic has had great feedback so far. Thank you Oxford Hospitals Charity.
